Flightcell product registration and warranty
Flightcell International Limited warrants that the product/s you have purchased from Flightcell or a Flightcell authorised reseller shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
One year limited warranty
All Flightcell products are warranted for one year from the date they are delivered to the purchaser by Flightcell or its authorised reseller. A five year warranty can be purchased separately.

Your remedies under warranty
Flightcell, at its option, shall at no charge to Purchaser, either repair or replace, or refund the purchase price of a defective product, provided a Returned Materials Approval (RMA) request is submitted using our online form.
Flightcell will repair products with new parts or with functionally equivalent reconditioned parts. A product that has been repaired or replaced is warranted for the balance of the original warranty period. A product for which a replacement has been provided shall become the property of Flightcell.
Terms of the warranty
These remedies are the Purchaser's exclusive remedies under this warranty. This warranty is made by Flightcell to the Purchaser of the product, and may be assigned to a subsequent purchaser provided Flightcell is advised in writing using the product registration form. Flightcell does not warrant any installation, maintenance, or service of the product not performed by Flightcell. Flightcell is not liable for any costs incurred prior to receiving the product at its repair facility in New Zealand, or after the product has shipped from the repair facility. In most circumstances Flightcell will pay for the return freight to the customer after the product has been repaired.
Warranty is voided under the following circumstances:
1. Products that are integrated, installed, maintained, or serviced in any manner other than in accordance with the applicable Flightcell installation or user documentation;
2. Damage caused by use of the product in combination with ancillary equipment not furnished by Flightcell where it is determined by Flightcell there is no fault with the product;
3. Defects or damage resulting from misuse, accident or neglect including, but not limited to: dropping the product onto hard surfaces, immersion in water, exposure to extreme heat, spills of food or liquid, improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, adjustment, or any alteration or modification of any kind;
4. Damage to external surfaces or other externally exposed parts caused by Purchaser's use;
5. Disassembly or unauthorised repair of the product, including repair at service centres not approved by Flightcell;
6. Removal or damage to serial numbers;
7. Normal wear and tear.
Warranty is also voided for batteries installed in products if they are charged by other than the Flightcell-approved battery charger or charged at voltages outside the range specified in the user manual for the product, or the seals on such batteries are broken or show evidence of tampering.
General provisions:
This warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty covers the product only, and no warranty is made as to coverage, availability, or service performance of satellite or cellular communications networks used in conjunction with the product. In no event shall Flightcell be liable for damages in excess of the purchase price of the product in question, or for any loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, lost profits or savings or other incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use such product, to the full extent such may be disclaimed by law.
